Debbie Jacobs is the Principle of the Practice.  She trained with Gary Jacobs, and was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988.  Debbie has worked with the company since 1986, and has been head of the Family Department in the previous Partnership since 1999. 

Debbie has been a member of the Law Society Children Panel since 1999.  Debbie conducts the advocacy in most of her cases from Family Proceeding Courts, County Courts and the High Court.  Children work forms the majority of her caseload.  She specialises in representing children and parents in a range of highly complex matters

 

KAZI ALI

Kazi was admitted as a solicitor in 2004.  He joined Gary Jacobs & Co in 2004.  Kazi undertakes all aspects of Civil and Family work including Divorce, Separation and matters relating to Children.  Kazi also represents parents and children relating to Public Law Childcare matters and Adoption.  Kazi is able to assist on Emergency Injunctions.  He undertakes his own advocacy where possible.

 

DAVINDER SINGH SEHMI

Davinder (Dev) was admitted as a Solicitor in 2003.  He joined Gary Jacobs & Co in July 2006.

 

Davinder undertakes all aspects of Family and Civil work of a particular complex nature which includes Ancillary Relief Cases of high net worth.  He undertakes work relating to all aspects of Divorce, Separation, Financial issues and children. Davinder represents parents in Public Law Childcare matters and Adoption on behalf of parents and children.  Davinder undertakes his own advocacy wherever possible

KIRAN SANGHA

Kiran qualified as a solicitor in October 2006 and joined the firm in June 2008. She undertakes all aspects of family work, including public and private law Children Act work, domestic violence and injunctions, and divorce and financial settlement. She undertakes her own advocacy wherever possible. Kiran is also fluent in spoken Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.

 

MICHELLE FERRER

Michelle was admitted as a solicitor in November 2005. and joined the firm in July 2008 and has previous practice knowledge in family and criminal law.

 

Michelle has a vast knowledge of crime and recently qualified as a duty solicitor in the police station and magistrates’ court on the accreditation scheme.

 

Now Michelle specialises in all aspects of family law, including all matrimonial, children and public law child care matters. Michelle endeavours to undertake all of her own advocacy wherever possible.

Sasha is our Deputy Practice Manager and has worked with Debbie since September 2000.

 

Sasha works closely with Debbie Jacobs, attending clients and professionals both in the office and at Court with Counsel.  Sasha can advise and assist on a variety of Private Family Law matters including Emergency Injunctions, Private Law Contact, Residence Orders and clients who are involved with Social Services.

PAULA JACOBS

Paula has been Practice Manager for 17 years.  Her role involves the day to day smooth running of the practice, including all accounts, administration and personnel.  She is the Financial Controller and Franchise Representative, responsible for the Legal Services Contract.  Paula became an Accredited Police Station Representative in 1995. Paula is also Company Secretary.
